Work-Based Learning Workshop

The SWLLN hosted a free workshop day for learning and training providers across the South West on 3 June 2008. The theme was work based learning with an emphasis on flexible approaches to delivery and assessment.   

Practitioners from across the region shared good practice. The programme for the day included sessions on: 

• Using mobile and other technologies to support work-based learners and mentors
• Designing and delivering flexible CPD models
• The Shell Award Framework for work-based learning
• The role of employers in assessment design and feedback
• The organisation’s view on the effectiveness of different training delivery methods
