Yeovil College & Connexions Somerset

Yeovil College and Somerset Connexions are working in partnership to encourage access and progression opportunities into Higher Education for learners in South Somerset, to improve links with employers and to improve the level of Information Advice and Guidance available to those prospective learners. One of the key activities includes jointly developing and delivering a programme of training to upskill and extend the range and number of staff who are able to deliver effective Information Advice and Guidance in both organisations, with a special focus on advising and supporting learners whose goal is university level study. A significant number of staff will do accredited training in IAG. Lessons from the Hub will be shared with other colleges and providers in Somerset.
