Truro College

This proposal is to create an IAG drop-in centre and attendant activities with employers.  It will be based in central Truro in an existing college facility, Haven House, which currently houses most of the college’s NVQ work. The hub aims to develop awareness and use of the face to face advice and to build an IAG resource base, with a particular emphasis on encouraging people to consider progression to HE and to flexible Foundation Degree opportunities being supported through SWLLN. The Hub investment will widen access to the centre by extending the Adult Guidance team working hours to include weekend provision. This is especially important for people who are working.
