Training Support Funds
The Training Support Fund was set up to enable individuals who have significant contact with adult learners in the South West, to gain an accredited qualification related to Information, Advice and Guidance.
Training agreement with SWLLN required trainees to:

Meet with their SWLLN IAG&LS mentor at least 3 times ( by phone if appropriate)

Attend 1 event in the SWLLN training /networking calendar

Do 2 client case studies on SWLLN target clients

Use SWLLN and other LLN web based training resources

Review a resource appropriate for advising and supporting clients considering/entering HE and contribute it to SWLLN practitioner site

Provide a 500 word report, endorsed by their institution, on how the training has benefited their professional practice and the clients they work with.
