Employer and provider engagement in Heritage Construction Skills in readiness for a new suite of Foundation Degrees (FDs)
Peter Oakley, the SWLLN Heritage lead academic, has been holding high profile employer engagements and liaising with several Further Education Colleges (covering the sub-region) and the University of Plymouth about creating a suite of part-time FDs for those engaged in Heritage Construction Skills. This development will build on the skills learners will have acquired from experience and NVQs. It is hoped that the delivery of the courses will entail considerable site-based activity.
