SJ has worked within the field of academic administration for the last twenty years. Her specialist areas include Student Services, Academic Advising and Accreditation, with specific focus on international students.  SJ is also an Associate Lecturer for the Open University and holds a D.Phil. in Medieval History. Her administrative career began at St Cross College, Oxford where she served as a Junior Research Fellow and continued at Richmond College, London where she was first an Assistant Dean and later Director of Academic Advising.  Prior to joining the OU, she was employed by Hood College, Maryland USA, where she was a visiting Lecturer and, in her last term, Acting Director for the institution’s MA in Humanities programme.   SJ is a Project Worker for the Progression Framework strand of the SWLLN.  Her work will centre on the development of Transfer Credit Agreements and the establishment of progression routes across the range of participating partners within the scheme.
