Lynn Sturch
Lynn Sturch BA (hons), Dip VG, Dip Counselling, has joined the Information, Advice, Guidance and Learning Support (IAG&LS) team of the South West Lifelong Learning Network and is based at the University of Plymouth. Lynn was previously the Careers Manager at Cornwall College, Cambourne where she established a comprehensive all age, all ability IAG service for a diverse range of clients. Lynn has recently developed and delivered a Career Management Skills programme for Foundation Degree students in collaboration with the University of Reading. She also led in the successful Investor in Careers and Matrix accreditation for colleges in the Cornwall College group. Her early work was as a Careers Advisor in the local authority sector in Birmingham before a move to Cornwall in 1983. Her SWLLN project role includes:Assisting the strand leader in scoping IAG provision and defining the offer; Promoting the development of IAG hubs to agreed standards; Designing and developing training packages in a range of media and Establishing strong links with partner organisations.
