After gaining her Private Secretary’s Certificate at Bournemouth and Poole College, Nadine started work in a small building society which subsequently merged with the Woolwich Building Society. After nine years there doing various jobs, Nadine moved to Frizzell, later to become Liverpool Victoria again working in a variety of departments. After some nine years there, Nadine joined Bournemouth University working in the office of Lifelong Learning, which merged with the Regional Partnerships Unit to become Partnerships, Access and Community Engagement (PACE). This is an exciting department where focus is on partnerships with numerous colleges, outreach in the community, Aimhigher and now the South West Lifelong Learning Network, all positive and inspiring work. Nadine did the secretarial course and has been using it ever since, expanding her knowledge of technology along the way (she learnt to type on a little manual).
